“Poushosh” Collages are totally and fundamentally conceptual. For their creation is based on mere idea and concept. And technique and material are the secondary elements in them not the main. Some of the chosen material such as extracts from fashion journals would be ruined or forgotten if they weren’t used in these collections. But this collage revived them, reanimated them with a new life and function. Above all they have helped the artist and the artist has helped them.

In this Series I created some holes and furrows on a paper and put it on an old print which shows I am mentioning something. I did it as a way of emphasis. Delicacy always matters to me. And about why I chose the title “present…”: we use present perfect continuous in English for the actions and events that happened in the past and never stopped. It seems that something is being added or repeated again and again. It is similar to what I have done in this collection. I have been loyal to the first artist by keeping his or her name. The title “as if they always belonged to each other “ describes my relation with the first artist. The delicate procedure of our works implies that we have belonged to each other in our aesthetics.
