This is not an event in Art History, not a symptom of an artistic movement.This is a requiem for God and his masterpiece. This is an expression of the execution of humane Individuality and evacuation of Self and Identity in Kafkaesque trials.This personal vision is giving the truth which has been buried alive for years, a hand to escape from the tomb. And consequently is guilty in the Minds who rule the world.
It can be seen as an allegory or a metaphor for the times that Gun and God have the same meaning. When individuals are reduced to machine guns. As u see in the first piece "Salute", the lust for power and dominance has come over with shame and is going to rape the world. This arrogant phallus with its maniac erection consists a nostalgic direction for Nazis.(the way they moved their hands to salute).
The second piece "Hypocrisy" needs no statement.It's the best description of the current age in the highest levels of power. The old material used for this work implies the long history of hypocrisy in Power relations.
The ambiguity in the word "Arms" is elaborately used by the Author. It comprises both guns(in its figurative sense) and Arms(in its literal sense) in it.The transformation of literal Arms into the Figurative one is an obvious intention.This clever usage can be seen in the 3rd piece too. When the handicapped soldiers have come back home, they have lost their "Arms".It reminds "A Farewell to Arms" by Hemingway, and it could be the title for this collage as well.
I would rather not say more, and let the pieces and the Art of illustration talk.
For any try to explain and discern the historical catastrophes equals to neglecting their true content as indiscernible and irrational facts. let's listen to these pieces once more.
